Training Center at Sentul Bogor, West Java.
The Training Center Building is situated on a land area of 5 ha, which is situated in Babakan Madang Sub-district of Bogor District. The boundaries of this land are: road and vacant land on the north, golf courses on the south, road and vacant land on the west and the east. From the site analysis and consideration of activities and functions, the master plan layout requires the training center building to be placed on the north side with the intention of ease of access for users of the facility, while the hotel is placed on the south side on the ground that for hotel building, the achievement cannot directly add its value because the theme is a resort hotel.
The training center is situated in an area of 1.6 ha within a Hotel and Training Center Building complex with total area of 5 ha. The educational facility building has a concept to put forward present, young, dynamic, passionate educational activities, which are the essence of planning this design. The approach combines formal educational activities with informal activities. By integrating informal classes with functions and facilities, such as inner court, amphitheater, library, lounge, casual canteen, branchless banking, gallery, and a game-gym room will make an inspiring atmosphere for actors of teaching and learning activities in this building. This exciting combination will be a continuous energy to meet future needs.
Among the configuration of L-shape masses, we can find inner court and amphitheater for outdoor activities, such as group discussions, open lectures, performing arts etc.
The interior design was well-appointed in bright, fresh colors and creative inspiration patterns. Thus, it can synergize teaching and learning activities and problem solving skills. Supported by a landscape design that highlights natural materials and selection of appropriate trees, it contributes to equip these facilities into ideal educational functions.
